I was thrilled with the first but the second is just useless, I would rather have gotten a P1, or La Ferrari. If they ever make an auction house however, i'll gladly take the 6 million.

Take the second one and paint it something fun. Or put some ridiculous low drag tune setup on it.

On a side note, I can't believe they don't even have an auction house! They had one in Forza 2 FFS. Forza 5 sounds like half a game to me. I don't think I would buy it even if I did have an Xbone. Clearly they rushed it for the Xbone. Either that or they've gotten REALLY greedy with the tokens.

Do I think they rushed forza? Yes they did but I think that the addition of an auction house and some more cars/ tracks could make it a great game.

Yeah, it needs more tracks and cars. I'm bored with the tracks Forza 3 and 4 have. 5 sounds like a snooze fest, except for Spa, Bathurst, and the addition of open wheel cars.

They gave me two LaFerraris and two E21s. I bought the P1.. I love both the Ferrari and Mclaren.

It sounds like they're doing a lot to fix the balance - they just released an update that permanently reduces the overall cost of cars by 45%, and increases the rate at which you earn money by 60% - but yeah, it's a real bummer that there's been such a dramatic cutback on cars and tracks. The auction house is a massive loss just by itself.

At least they're paying attention to feedback: I get the impression they were testing the waters with the pricey cars/token incentive stuff, and have been somewhat burned by the response.

Yeah, I know about the update. I still can't see no auction house. Not that I can use it anymore, I don't have gold and don't intend on paying for it. But I remember in Forza 2 I bought my favorite car, the McLaren F1 GT painted in this epic snake livery that was amazingly, unlocked, for only 97,000 credits. Somehow I won the auction which had started out dirt cheap with no reserve. It was amazing.
